Getting There

Public Transport - Heathrow Express (recommended)

Fastest Option: Heathrow Express + Tube

  1. Heathrow Express: Take the Heathrow Express from Heathrow Airport to London Paddington Station. Trains depart every 15 minutes, and the journey takes approximately 15–20 minutes.​ Make sure to purchase a return ticket as its cheaper.
     
  2. London Underground: From Paddington, take the Bakerloo Line southbound to Piccadilly Circus. Then, transfer to the Piccadilly Line eastbound and travel to Covent Garden Station. The total journey from Paddington to Covent Garden takes about 15–20 minutes.​
     
  3. Walk: From Covent Garden Station, it's a short 3-minute walk to 34 Bow Street.​

Public Transport - Elizabeth Line (cheaper)

To travel from Heathrow Airport to Covent Garden via the Elizabeth Line

  1. Take the Elizabeth Line (Abbey Wood) from Heathrow to Tottenham Court Road
  2. Walk: To event location (approximately 12 minutes).

By Car or Taxi

  • Taxi: A taxi ride from Heathrow to 34 Bow Street typically takes 45–60 minutes, depending on traffic. The fare is approximately £60–£80.​
     
  • Driving: If you're driving, be aware that 34 Bow Street is within London's Congestion Charge Zone. Ensure your vehicle complies with ULEZ standards to avoid additional charges.​

Like with any major city, when travelling to London you need to remain vigilant at all times.

  • Keep your personal belongings secure and out of sight in public spaces.
  • Avoid displaying valuables, such as phones or jewelry, especially in crowded areas.
  • Be aware of your surroundings, particularly when traveling at night.
  • If in doubt, ask for assistance from local authorities

Important Travel Information

EU citizens flying to the UK will need an Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) for short visits (less than six months) from April 2, 2025.

Previously, EU citizens could travel to the UK with just a valid passport or national ID card. An ETA gives you permission to travel to the UK and needs to be obtained before travel, and can be applied for through the UK ETA app or the GOV.UK website
